SOPRA Engineering provides 3D printing services for rapid prototyping and rapid tooling purposes.
We can print single or multi-material objects starting from a 3D CAD model. We can also generate the 3D CAD model for you if you don’t have one.

3D Modeling
If you don’t have already a 3D CAD model of the item you need to print we can model it for you.
3D Slicing
‘Slicing’ is the word used to describe the activity of preparing a model for the print. It involves deciding the layers height, the orientation, the materials in case of multi-material objects, the infill parameters, the supports for overhangs, etc.
3D Printing
Good printing of 3D objects is the result of wise modeling, proper slicing and of course accurate printing. Despite the 3D printing technology has improved a lot in the last decade getting a good print still requires a good amount of expertise.
Supported Materials
The following list of materials is available in different colours included transparent or glowing in the dark.
PLA

PLA is the most common material for 3D prints and the most environmentally friendly since it’s biodegradable.
PET

PET and PETG are tough materials suitable for mechanical parts and with good thermal resistance.
ABS

ABS is known to be very strong and resistant to temperature up to 98 °C. We can also print PC-ABS with improved stiffness and thermal resistance.
NYLON

NYLON is a very tough material suitable for mechanical parts.
FLEX

We can also print flexible material.
PP

POLYPROPYLENE is flexible and resistant suitable for precise objects.
ASA
...
ASA has properties similar to ABS but with increased UV resistance.
NGEN

nGen has increased heat resistance properties.
HIPS

HIPS is high impact polystyrene.

Composite materials are plastic material that includes a second material in form of dust like: carbon, wood, copper, bronze, aramid and many others.
